About us
LADE Community Organization was started by a group of social sciences graduates. LADE is a broad understanding of Local Action for Development and Empowerment. This led to the creation of the acronym LADE, hence LADE Community Organization. The core work of this organization is to provide quality and affordable skills training for youth, women and people with disabilities. Skills create empowerment and fuel innovation, investment, technological change, enterprise development, economic diversification and competitiveness that our country needs to accelerate the creation of more jobs, but also more productive jobs.
As part of the national development strategy to equip youthful girls and boys with hands-on skills to enable them to create jobs and generate wealth. LADE Community organization looks forward to strengthen their skills, productivity, employment and decent work.
The goal of the skills training project is to ensure that the different vulnerable groups in the communities acquire skilling courses. The courses include tailoring and fashion, hairdressing, embroidery, knitting, carpentry and joinery, motor vehicle mechanics, catering and hairdressing. This is to ensure that needy people can acquire can be employed to earn a living and change their lives. The organization provides a one-year course and to ensure quality. At the end of the year course, learners do an assessment exam given by the Directorate of industrial training (DIT) and are given certificates.

We collaborate with other organizations to provide the following projects in order to develop long-term initiatives that assist people in solving their problems.
. HIV/AIDs awareness and mitigation programmes,
. Support and protect vulnerable children,
. Environmental protection.
. Promote and support innovations from community members to identify local solutions to local challenges,
. Sensitize of men and women on gender equity and equality and support PWDs.
. Conduct research to assess the needs and underlying conditions to ensure right projects are implemented to the right communities.
. Partner with CBOs, NGOs, and government institutions to ensure quality social service delivery.
