LADE Community Organization was started by a group of social sciences graduates. The core work of this organization is to provide quality and affordable skills training for youth, women and people with disabilities
Our mission is to provide skills training and empower youth, women, children, PWDs and elderly in poor communities to transform their lives.
To create a long-lasting support system that brings together communities, promotes equality, enable sustainable income growth, and transform people's lives for prosperity.
We are team of social workers who formed a non-profit organization to work towards addressing the socio-economic challenges in Uganda especially in rural communities. We are focused on implementing sustainable interventions that help vulnerable groups such as youth, women, men, girls, children, PWDs and elderly transform their lives through empowerment programmes. We believe that skills development is one of sustainable ways of empowering these key social groups in the communities.
The organization is committed to bring about sustainable change by providing vocational skills that are aligned with what the labor market demands. Our organization firmly considers that enhancing human capital for Uganda’s most vulnerable populations, particularly the youth who make up the majority of the population, is essential to attaining inclusive growth that accelerates poverty reduction.
We provide relevant and quality vocational skills training to the people, especially the youth, with knowledge, skills and competencies required for the jobs of today and in future. These skills are in the areas of tailoring and fashion design, embroidery, carpentry and joinery, motor vehicle mechanics, catering, hairdressing, Brick-making and concrete practice.
